Answers
  1. How much does a translation cost?
The price of a translation is based on the number of words (in certain cases on the number of pages) in the source text. The rate per word depends on the selected language combination, the topic area and the desired text quality. There are NO additional fees for additional services such as editing.

Simply calculate the price for your translation using the price calculator at www.textking.com
  1. How fast will I get my translation?
The delivery time of your translation depends on the nature and complexity of your order as well as on the capacities of the chosen translator. Delivery time is set automatically and assigned to your order based on your text's key data. Crucial factors for the delivery time calculation include word count, topic area and desired text quality. The definite date you need to receive your translation you set in the briefing within the order process.
  1. How can I pay for the translation?
You can pay for your translation by direct debit, bank transfer, PayPal or credit card (Mastercard, Visa, American Express).
  1. Can orders be split to facilitate faster translation?
You can, of course, divide your original text and commission different translators for the parts. Just enter the parts one by one into the price calculator and commission the desired translator for each. You can also send an e-mail explaining your request to info@textking.com.
  1. How fast will the translator start working on the translation?
Your translation will be sent to the translator as soon as you have submitted your order at www.textking.com. The translator's response time is included in the delivery time shown when you selected the translator.

  1. What is the difference between Content Summary, Literal Translation, Professional Text and Effective Texts?
These 4 price levels represent 4 different target text quality levels. Selecting the right level depends, for example, on what you intend to use your translation for.

Do you primarily need the translation in order to understand a text?
Then choose the least expensive level: Content Summary

Do you want your text correctly translated but do not mind if it reads like a translation?
Then level 2, Literal Translation, is the right choice.

Do you, for example, want to use the translation for business correspondence?
For this most companies choose level 3 - Professional Text.

Do you want the translation to achieve a specific effect: as is, for example, required of an advertising message?
Then select the highest quality level - Effective Text.
